My Work - Comfort Is The Key

This house is open concept so the main objective when decorating this room was to make it feel warm and comfortable. This was done by adding a textured rug and many patterned pillows. My favourite part has got to be the built in shelves it gives the affect of a mini museum and allows for many possessions and keepsakes to be displayed.

My Work - Pretty in Pink

When i started to decorate this room my only request was to have everything pink and white. When you think pink and white you automatically think of a little girls room adorned in pink bows and white lace. I had to veer away from this as my client was in her late teens - I decided to add gold into the mixture to create the look of elegance and maturity. The wallpaper was a last minute decision it is very subtle and really gives off an old romantic feel.

The focal point of the room is the ornate vintage console table turned vanity that holds all of her makeup in glass canisters. The mirror was found at Homesense but that could have fooled anyone by its antique look. The vanity bench was also found at an antique store and was sprayed white and upholstered in a gold snake skin fabric.
