I love me some classic canadiana. As a proud Canadian, I go nuts for anything and everything connected to the great white north, particularly if it’s design related.

The Hudson’s Bay point blanket is the standout. The blanket, originally traded by the Hudsons’s Bay Company (HBC) throughout Canada and the United States in exchange for beaver pelts, has become an icon in Canadian history, and a must-have in cozy home decor. Capitalizing on the longstanding success of the iconic stripes, The Bay has now gone on to create a number of collections and partnerships, branding just about everything with their stripes.

Ombre seems to have taken over the trending world and is here to stay! A great way to enhance a simple colour and explore the many shades within, ombre adds that hint of interesting with a punch of style.
