Spring has Sprung

Spring has officially hit Toronto, people! Patios are popping up, my winter jacket is in storage, and best of all; flowers are blooming! Great florals can breathe life into an otherwise dull and drab room. I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting with different varieties and arrangements, keep an eye on the blog for a ”How-To Prep the Perfect Floral Arrangement” post in the next couple of weeks!

The problem with flowers, however, is their limited lifespan. Most of my favourite types of flowers are seasonal and only come around for a few short months every year. The solution? Make flowers a permanent figure in the design of your room! You can brighten up a room with flora pillows, add some whimsy with a floral rug, dress up the inside of a wardrobe or hutch with a spring surprise, or go all out and make flowers the main attraction by creating a floral back splash.

Are you incorporating florals into the design of your room? What do you think of these spaces?
