The Ace Hotel

The Ace Hotel has locations in Portland, Seattle, New York, Palm Springs and Los Angeles. Written up as “The country’s most original new hotel” by the New York Times, The Ace is a groovy getaway that takes your travel experience to the next level.

Forget your idea of a typical hotel room, because The Ace is far from that. Each location brings a different vibe, and ultimately a different travel experience. No two rooms are designed the same, making each stay a standout experience.

Portland:
Portland is a whimsical city full of good eats, cool people and great music. The Ace Hotel in Portland plays off of the whimsy of the city to bring you a hotel with a laid-back, no fuss vibe. Portland is on top of my travel list, and I have no doubt that I’ll be checking into this hotel in the near future.

Seattle:
The Seattle location offers two types of rooms, standard and deluxe, and the rooms reflect Seattle’s clean and modern architecture. You wont find any frills, bells, or whistles around here. Clean lines, strong design, and a tough edge are what this hotel is all about.

New York:
They say that New York is the city that never sleeps, but if I stayed here I would never leave my room. The Ace New York is seriously badass. A romantic getaway? A girls’ party weekend? A backpacker retreat? A business trip? You’re covered. Design wise, each room is totally different, but true to the rugged rough edge you would hope for in a New York hotel.

Palm Springs:
Close to downtown, a quick drive from Joshua Tree, and the quintessential stay for Coachella goers, the The Ace Palm Springs is a dream. The design is rustic and nonconformist, reflective of the mountains and palm trees surrounding it. There are communal fireplaces around the property (how awesome is that?) and an atmosphere that reeks of summer, relaxation, and bohemian cool.

Los Angeles:
The Ace hotel in Downtown LA is set to launch in 2013 in the United Artist Building. I can’t wait to see what The Ace team dreams up for this historic landmark.
